Re: Sims3! (so excited!)
I bought the Sims 3 game last summer, and it is freaking amazing! I love the whole game. On it I mostly make people and their families. *Hides in corner* Every time I do, I name the main male or father Domovoi. Don't judge me. You know I'm addicted to him. Anyways, when I work on making a character I always have a hard time with the faces. Sometimes I never get the right proportions of the facial sizes correct. So I have to go into each one and find a way it works out with one another. Like with the eyes matching the nose, and lips. As well as the check bones.
For making houses I always make them one story. I think it's easier to use the game with a one story house. You keep track of everyone more. Pressing the buttons to go up a story and down one gets on my nerves sometimes. So I just pick a one story house or make it that way. The coast of making a suitable house for my Sims person coasts around. I dunno, somewhere between $1,000,000 to $1,500,000 or more. In main rooms like the living room and kitchens. I make the walls and furniture as white as I get get them to be. It looks more cleaner and has a touch of a elegant feeling to it. Oh- and you can never forget to add see through windows. I mean the full large square ones. I love them, it borders around the house adding a perfect lighting effect. Which helps not having to add a lot of lighting fixtures to the ceiling or walls. The large windows make the white walls and furniture radiantly glow.
I'm not a big fan on the whole job/occupation part of the game. All I need is the beginning Sims creator and the house maker/furniture part to make me happy.
Sims3 is on my top 5 gaming list.

I so want this, I've got Sims 2 on the DS. I'm like Amy, I just don't do the story, just socialize. Since on Sims 2 (on the DS) it isn't so good, but hey.
