At my school, a lot of people read AF...except I refuse to talk with them very long.
I'm just like that.
I like to talk to people who don't like the same stuff as I do...
Which explains why ALL my friends hate each other...I feel like a delicate block in between them, the only thing keeping them from ripping each other's hair out.
ANYWAYS, my friend is reading AF right now.
She's on page 40-something.
The librarian was talking about AF the other day to out AP Spanish reading class...(they have it in Spanish) but she made it sound cliche and dull.
This is her talking about The Opal Deception:
"So, he goes and kidnaps a fairy, but things don't go as planned..blah, blah. But that's the first book. I'm talking about the fourth book, in which they previously mind-wiped Artemis, and so the fairies come and say 'Yes, we are fairies. You've worked with us before. We need your help."

The summary she gave it HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST ONE I'VE EVER HEARD.
She didn't even say what the plot was...but okay.
It's still sort of popular here.
Not as much as other book series, though.
The volatile surrogate for the salubrious ambit of seizing any just and warranted seclusion from even the nighest beau monde.
