Re: Half Moon and Supernaturalist
Just read Half Moon. . . The laugue and phrasing was cute ( and i might say Waaaay cooler Encyclopedia Brown ). But the guys motive was way to predictable. (The Walkie Talkie thing cracked me up though ) But Alsas the story is missing a certain someone. . .Ditto

Re: Half Moon and Supernaturalist
I would vote for the Supernaturalist. I just think that it was cooler. I liked Half Moon though. I wish he had made more of those books, but I am glad that he went back to Artemis Fowl.

Re: Half Moon and Supernaturalist
I actually liked Half Moon Investigations. I got through it faster than The Supernaturalist, and I also loved the wording. I still really like The Supernaturalist and can't wait for the sequel, but HMI just really struck my fancy. It was hilarious and I love a good mystery!
The world is a strange place....
Dr. Spencer Reid, played by Matthew Gray Gubler, on Criminal Minds, is the most amazing guy in the world. And HE'S ALL MINE!!!
The rain smells... interesting. It's... intoxicating. I can't stop... sniffing it. Don't worry... if I get... high....

Love hurts like a sharp arrow--why else would everyone draw an arrow through their hearts? But going without it hurts even more.

I vote Supernaturlist....And also does anyone know when the second Supernaturlist is coming out? because at the end of the first one they say something about going to the North/South pole?

Re: Half Moon and Supernaturalist
I liked Half Moon because it is funny, and I kinda knew the places it was set in. Supernaturalist was good, but I didn't really like it. I found Stefen dying a bit depressing, and I didn't think it was the best ending. Also I didn't like the way the future was.
Both books were good, but nowhere near as good as AF. I would say HMI is better than the Supernaturalist, though.

I got Half Moon, and they were BOTH amazing. Like seriously, I can't even compare the two. They're different from each other too, somehow.

Re: Half Moon and Supernaturalist
Half Moon, because no-one gets killed and it's relitively realistic. They are both good though, I hope he makes a sequel for them both!!!
Gallifrey - a Doctor Who fanfiction
Hunting the Disappeared - a Fowlock fanfiction

This user will debate you about how important Jean Valjean is (acceptable answer: very), and the distinction between 'antagonist' and 'villain' and how the terms apply to Javert and the Thenardiers.

Re: Half Moon and Supernaturalist
How can you say Supernaturlist isn't realistic? I don't think anyone has the knowledge to know whether Supernaturlist is or isn't realistic.. Because it's in the future.. And, I would say that Eoin did the effects of global warming quite well.Skyswallow wrote:Half Moon, because no-one gets killed and it's relitively realistic.
And about nobody dying in HMI, it'd a different type of book and, only one person, Stefan dies who's really important..
