animated or live action?

Which actors would you like to cast? What do you want to see? What would you do if you were the director?

I think it would be awesome as anime, but also would like to see it as non-anime. I mean, action scenes would be a lot better with real people, but other parts would be better as anime. And then anime just seems like it would take a shorter amount of time to make because you don't have to find actors(well, you do, but just for voices, so they wouldn't have to look like the character, so it would be easier) and I dunno. I know my reasons aren't very good, but really, I'm torn between the two anyways, so... XD

Deffinitly a combination of the two. Anime for the more difficult scenes but a live action for the added realness like in AI. And has annyone noticed how the people who choose anime alwase have somthing anime as their sig?

Why not both?

An animie film, and one with human actors. Your choice as to which (or both!) to see. :D
Gallifrey - a Doctor Who fanfiction
Hunting the Disappeared - a Fowlock fanfiction

Stars, in your multitudes - scarce to be counted, filling the darkness with order and light! You are the sentinels, silent and sure - keeping watch in the night, keeping watch in the night.

cepele retro petdamìnpasétócó - 'at some point, past!you gets a plant-like thing (that we think is from the future)'

This user will debate you about how important Jean Valjean is (acceptable answer: very), and the distinction between 'antagonist' and 'villain' and how the terms apply to Javert and the Thenardiers.

i like the idea of an animated Artemis fowl and i know japan does adaptations well so to ignore my idea lets weigh up the positives and negitives of it being animated

positives: the characters will look just like how they should (could be negitive if you did not like the graphic novel) meaning the actors only have to sound the part and they won't have to find a cast of 1 meter tall people to play the Fariy roles

some parts of the movie whould most likely look better animated (most likely i could be wrong) e.g. flying or any of the fights and it might look a bit stuped haveing lazer beams being fried from guns with everything else looking realistic

negitives: I think it whould cost more to make it animated and also it might be seen as a risk for the people makeing the movie to go with that art style

thanks for the sig Sara

I think it should be animated. They would be able to have more fairy magic and technology then a non-anime movie. The avengers movie had eight groups of computer graphics people, and six groups of special effects techies. That would be about the same in an AF movie, and that would cost a ton.

A big budget movie for Artemis Fowl is out of the question, so if it was animated it would probably fit the budget and slightly easier to do everything in general.

It should so be anime, I mean how else are they supposed to find people the right hight, right look, AND make the crowd happy? (yes I know they could use special effects for the hight) and seriously, where are you going to find a Artemis that looks like Artemis?

This movie should be animated; if would work better with the fairies and Artemis himself. Who looks like Artemis?

Speaking of Halo Legends, the movie should be in the style of "The Package". 3d animation, with high quality special effects.
