That is a good choice. I pictured the commander younger but still that is pretty good.

Who should play Julius Root?
Okay, guys. I think I have, in my opinion, found our Julius Root. Give it up for Miguel Sandoval. He has played (mostly minor roles) in Medium, Gotta Kick It Up, 7th Heaven, Batman Beyond, Air Bud: World Pup, Seinfeld, Jurassic Park, Law & Order, The X Files, and SO many other movies! Hello everyone! I'm new here, but i had also sort of looked at Robert DeNiro for Julius Root. He just seems like he would fit the character nicely.

I thought maybe Dennis Franz:
He played Andy Sipowicz on NYPD blue, and from what I've seen there, he'd make a pretty good Root. Maybe a good Homage to the cop genre.
