I would love to see the Artemis Fowl series in the movies - would be almost as good as Harry Potter. The AF novels are brilliant and the stories keep you guessing. I am not sure who could be Artemis - someone like the guy that done Agent Cody Banks (although he is probably to old now). Zooey Deschanel (Hitchhikers Guide) for Holly.

Are you sure she didnt say the writer was one of the writers on pirates of the caribbean?
I think thats what she meant - shes talking about Stuart Beattie.
All the known facts about the movie are <a href='http://artemisfowl.fangathering.com/movie_facts.html' target='_blank'>here</a>
The new director is yet to be chosen
And lol - I agree about Diaz! I think she has been scrapped anyways

If Stuart Beattie writes the script then he will most likely stick some extra action in the movie...or at least thats what i think.

If I had a sister, I'm sure she'd be inconsolable.
Hey, Mulch, if you listen really hard you can just about make out the sound of nobody giving a hoot.

I vote Sean Connery for Foaly B)
Even just the voice
Foaly, [censored] Foaly, I'll have a brain probe, crimped, not crumbled.
That would be funny as heck to see. I never thought of that.
