the artemis fowl movie-soundtrack????

Which actors would you like to cast? What do you want to see? What would you do if you were the director?

What about Fight 'Til Dying, from Sunrise Avenue? Or Fairytale gone bad, from the same band. Fight 'til dying when... aw, that's for the 4th. It starts like this: I see the look in your eyes, I know it's time to rise. Hey baby, I know you, I know we will be fine. * That has to be played when Opal locked them up with all the trolls, in the temple of artemis.* Fairytale gone bad, well, title says all, I think :P Well, that were my ideas.

What about something from Bon Jovi? How about "It's My Life"? Or "Wanted Dead or Alive"? They would both be good for the second and fourth books. Maybe "I Just Wanna Live" by Good Charlotte. I don't know what you guys think about that. :woot: Tell me what you think. :)

Why not take all songs from Nickelback, because they fit in quite well with the movies. Like Savin' me, when Holly is kidnapped. Or Hold Out Your Hand, when Artems receives the fairy gold. Or Woke Up This Morning, when Artemis wakes up the day after the mind-wipe, or everytime he feels guilty, because there is a sentence in the song, that goes like: I felt like **** when I woke up this morning.

Yeah but "Hangnail" or "Rock Star" don't go with Artemis very well. You know what would be good for Holly and Trouble? "Umbrella" by Rihanna. I know it's cliche but it could work, couldn't it?

Hangnail could be. When Artemis kidnaps Holly. "Next time you bleed, right about this time tomorrow, next time you steal, better ask before you borrow". I think it goes well with the book. And Rockstar... It could be for Foaly. Because it is about what people want to be, and Foaly always wants a bigger budget. Okay, lousy thing. But I found a use for Hangnail at least :D

Hmmm... That is a good idea. I like those ideas very much. "Hangnail" mostly is the best idea. I think "Beautiful" by Creed would be good for Juliet or Holly. "She wears a coat of colors, loved by some, feared by others..." I think it would be perfect for Holly. it just goes to show how powerful she is as a female, you know? What do you think? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, just listen to the song.

Personally, I wouldn't want to see an Artemis Fowl movie with a lot of pop music in it. Nah, I'd prefer a nice rousing classical score by Jerry Goldsmith, or John Williams, or even Hans Zimmer.

Also, the 1812 overture would be an interesting choice...they'd have to only play the very end, though, as the actual piece is around 15 to 20 minutes long.

as holly was flying out of the shoot and over the alps, something like "steady as she goes" would be good.

and for artemis? Something like "Heart of gold" by niel young?

I think it would. There are so many lines in there which can be used for situations. So that would be a good choice too.

I desperately want to see Garbage's Cherry Lips set to Juliet someday!
On the mention of Nickelback if anyone here has read Airman yet, doesn't seem like Savin' Me is about that story?

Why not Breath, from Breaking Benjamin? When Artemis kidnaps Holly. "You got to fight just to make it through, 'cause I will be the death of you." "This will be all over soon, pour salt into the open wound, is it over yet? Let me in." And there are many more lines that fit in AF.
