Ooh, I think he will make a GREAT Artemis Fowl Senior! I think he's a really good actor, why haven't I thought of this before?
Silly me
.
(I really liked his voice in The Lion King, and he was really good in Eragon. Too bad the rest of the Eragon movie sucked.

That's where I know him from! Merchant of Venice! I couldn't figure it out! Thank you muchly.
I do think that he'd be amazing. He looks the part, if he had darker hair. My only concern is that he wouldn't take a job. That's my worry with all of the well known actors that people have chosen. They might not want such a "degrading" job as a small role in a movie based on a children's book.

He's become this special type of actor who plays these kinds of roles.
I first recall seeing him in Dungeons & Dragons.. I found it amusing to see him appear in Eragon.
Yeah, it would work. B) He's a great actor. He's almost 60 years old, though.. How old is Artemis Sr. supposed to be, anyway? I imagined Artemis Sr. as a forty-something.
@Aphrodite: Yeah, he was the voice of Scar in the Lion King, I think..

A job is a job, and money is money. A lot of prolific actors do small appearances or children's movies. For instance, William Macy has played all sorts of roles across the board, from Fargo to Doogal. I don't think that will be a problem with most actors.
