Lenses used

Apart from being a terrible movie. Did anyone notice that they used a wide-angle lens for most of the shots (I saw it as any straight things at the edge of the frame like a pole or support beam is bent as it goes out of frame.)

I actually hadn't noticed... I suppose I did watch most of it on my laptop as opposed to a larger screen, so that might have made it more difficult to notice. I must say I know little about filmmaking. What kind of lens would have been the standard to use?
