How much magic do you think Artemis stole?

What do you think will happen in the next installment of the Fowl series?

Hmm? i dont know if he could steal more than Holly has. i mean, he stole only a tiny trickle of the demon warlock's magic. but if he can figure out a way to do the ritual... he may be able to get a lot of magic.
does anyone know whether the amount of magic you can hold is determined by your mental ability or your physical size. ^_^
if its determined by how smart you are, Artemis would be the most powerful magical being EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD XD XD
that would be crazy

I think he stole a lot of magic. Even though he "couldn't" get his eye the right size, I think he was faking it in order to keep the magic with him.

I think he may be able to use the magic he has to unlock his own human magic.
I'm referring to: "Artemis realized there where sections of his brain opening up that hadn't been used by humans for millennia. He also realized that humans must have had their own magic once but had forgotten how to use it."
So what if the unlocked portions of the human brain/or any brain for that matter are the key to magic?
The fact that fairies are smarter than humans is constantly expressed.
So maybe that's the trick, they still have access to the whole of their own minds, including the portion which control magic.
And if so maybe Artemis's magic will lead him into reopening his own locked mind and therefore regaining human magic.

So his magic then is bascly limitless. Kewl. I'm just worried He'll use it for something 'bad" (like suduction  )

Methinks Artemis stole enough for, say, five minutes shielding. May be a plot point of some sort.

Artemis would love the mesmer though ;)

Yeah I know seductions not exactly on Arty's 'must list' quite yet. That was stupid of me to say :|

We must stay on topic!

That would be awesome, actually. He had only a couple minutes of magic, which he saved up to, let's say, rescue Holly.
That could tie in with the him lying to Holly plot and it could help make Holly forgive him.
Waaaay too cliché.
Thanks to darvit and /b/for my signature. :D
And thanks Kagoma, for the awesome birthday present that is the C&H sprite!

I think that Artemis unlocked those parts of his mind when he got the magic, but because he thinks that humans once had magic (i think that theory is correct), then he should have to do a human ritual instead of the fairy ritual.

I don't think Artemis will ever run out of magic because he stole it from a warlock who never runs out of magic. Warlocks never complete the ritual so I don't think Artemis will have to either.
This is from Hazel the Brilliant

"I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure."
"Never take life to seriously, no one gets out alive anyways."
"The conclusion is the part where you got tired of thinking."

I hope Artemis doesn't run out of magic. I also want to know if he will have human magic, like demon warlocks have that gargoyle thing (can't remember what it's called) so Artemis might have different magical powers to fairies. Also why wasn't Minerva mindwiped? The council should of gotten rid of her memories. :?

WICKED plans? Artemis is changing. He isn't going to do anything evil!

The reasons aliens haven't made contact with us because if a species were to become space-faring, they would have no doubt realized that bickering and warring is primitive. They realize that any interaction with humans would be met with hostility on our parts. Only when we can put aside our differences and tear down our borders will be find what we are looking for.

I know what I use magic for... But I think Artemis will probably go and do the ritual to restore all of his magic and have fun with the mesmer.
