Farria didn't like the new people who were watching them. They had things that went boom in their hands. She didn't like things that went boom.
She decided to let the others do the talking, though she was very tempted to start talking about how falling down the mirror made her feel like Alice: a combination of falling down the rabbit hole, and going through the looking glass.
There was one girl who looked like a princess. Princesses were nice.
I wonder if I've gone mad, Farria thought briefly, common sense showing through for once, which it rarely did with her. ...Nah.
She was tempted to sit down and start singing "la la la", but figured that wouldn't sit well with the people who had the things that went boom.
(... Pretty sure she's the ((sometimes annoying)) comic relief in our team xD)

And suddenly, Sea.

Name: Renton Kidd-Arainai, affectionately known to some as Rents, nicknamed Rent Boy

Age (Between 13-19): 15 going on 16

Lineage (Which Kingdom You're from):
Snow White

Personality: more of a boyish quality to his general demeanour, charming and has a sharp tongue, often giving off sarcastic and snarky remarks. Very open about sexuality due to the nature of his surroundings that he's grown up in. Very independent. Relatively caring towards friends but ultimately places his own priorities first. Doesn't put too much thought into what he says unless he's at work, which means that he often finds trouble on the streets.

Appearance: has a helix piercing; dyed pastel blue medium-length hair (originally black); larger rust brown eyes, albeit slightly feline; has an impish and charming grin; scrawny and a little bit shorter than average height; often wears a leather outer coat jacket thing and grey hoodie underneath casually but dresses more smartly for work

History: He lives in a decent studio apartment in a decent neighbourhood alone but leased under his parents' name. His parents are upperclass-working people with a moderate-high stable income whose jobs are based in other kingdoms. They send money back to him weekly. He's grown up like this all his life and doesn't loathe his parents for it at all. To him they're just distant relatives who visit now and then, and call him every week. He quite likes them, in fact, and they send him various useless souvenirs from places they visit.
Doesn't really fancy school but attends enough days to not be expelled and just to keep himself busy during the day. Is mischievous in class if not sleeping or dreaming but doesn't take anything too far. On decent terms with most students, though most of them are wary of him (and some just avoid him) and rumours tend to circulate, thus the nickname Rent Boy, which he doesn't like (at all), but keeps quiet about. Fancied by some of the girls at school as well.
After school he hangs out at a skate park, picking up skills such as rollerblading and skateboarding after he received both a pair of rollerblades and a skateboard from his parents.
After he goes home to take a bath/ change, he sets off to his work- a seedy bar downtown where hosts and hostesses are part of the experience. Of course, he only works as a waiter and not a host, but herein lies the confusion and blurring of lines, although the origins of his "Rent Boy" nickname come from an earlier timeline when he was about 10, where he was known to loiter the streets or do strange/ odd jobs.

Other facts: He smokes, has one fish named Bird and some sea monkeys sent from his parents, also watches a lot of movies and shows. Lastly, he's allergic to apples.
-------------------------------

It was all very reminiscent of Alice In Wonderland, which meant it was all very reminiscent of Farria, which meant that it was all very reminiscent of getting drunk. And Renton knew that did not mean anything good.

But he might as well enjoy the falling, the nice breeze kind of messed his hair bu--

"Profanities." He'd landed on someone but it still hurt like profanities. He sat up, still on whoever he landed on, rubbing his head.

"Alright, the fall was much shorter than expected, really. " He muttered, looking up before realising he was probably in a rather tense situation. He saw his friends on one side, while he was on the other, sitting on what appeared to be just some guy. Who wasn't on their side.

"Is this like, a VRMMO (Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online) game, guys? It's cool and all, but you guys could've waited, you know. " He looked around at the people aiming things at him.

"So.. Did I interrupt the AI briefing session or..? "

Everyone just stared for a little while after the boy fell from the ceiling.

I've never seen a mirror do that before, Maeya thought, staring up at the ceiling as the crackles of magic that were there started to disperse and disappear. Wherever these kids had come from, they couldn't go back the same way any more. 'How did that even...?'

Abel pulled Renton up from off of the man before he could be pushed off. '...Are you alright?'

'...I don't think that that's the important question here,' muttered Jack, pulling himself up. 'You all just fell in that way? Really?'

'If you've seen it with your own eyes, it can't be that difficult to believe, can it?'

The man narrowed his eyes at him, crossing his arms over his chest. Some strange magic was definitely at work here, but it really didn't seem as if these kids were controlling it. The question now was, who was. 'So everyone just jumped into some magic mirror that just happened to be lying around and ended up here? Yeah, that's very understandable,'

The princess stepped forward, pushing her exceptionally long her out of her way.
'Perhaps we should bring them upstairs and talk? They don't appear to be hostile, unlike us.' She gave Jack and Rusty both an icy glare.
*~~*
Evelyn stepped forward. 'Yes. That.. that sounds like an excellent idea.'
She didn't want to be stuck down here any longer, especially when these two really caught her attention. Even"Jack" seemed so familiar. Why did she feel like her memory had been sapped?
"People are gonna tell you who you are your whole life. You just gotta punch back and say, "No, this is who I am". You want people to look at you differently? Make them! You want to change things, you're gonna have to go out there and change them yourself, because there are no fairy godmothers in this world." - Emma Swan, Once Upon A Time.

Jack scowled, 'So you think that the whole 'fell through a magic mirror' thing isn't shady in the slightest?'

'I think that it's weird as all hell, but that these kids - and they are just kids, you know - aren't the cause for it,' Maeya told him, clearly having made up her mind about siding with the princess. 'Besides, unless you think that what we just saw when he fell in from nothing was an illusion, we're going to have to at least listen to what they had to say,'

The man frowned and glared at her, but knew when he was beaten. 'Alright, alright,' he sighed, putting his hands up in surrender. 'Come with us. Be careful not to slip on, you know, the fortune worth of liquor that you've just destroyed,' Someone was going to have to take the blame for that and Jack would be damned if it was going to be him.

Skye observed quietly behind the rest of the group. The way her friends behaved, from the over-giggly Rose, to the mentally challenged Farria, or even the smart mouthed Magni made her wonder how long their little group was going to last in this strange new world. No one except maybe Eveyln was even taking this seriously and it... it p*ssed her off. At least she thought it did, she wasn't quite sure how to interpret this growing emotion. Maybe it was induced by fear and confusion about the situation?
"Idiot, instead of analyzing your own emotions you should be paying attention to those around you,"
She was glad when they decided to get out of the cellar. The smell of alchohol was overwhelming, and it was very crowded. She followed along in the back of the group without a single word, breathlessly wondering, hoping, that she might wake up to find this was all a dream.

Rose watched the banter quietly, slowly calming down. Okay. This seemed real. She followed the group, eyes fixed on the guy who seemed p*ssed at the world. Perhaps it was his attitude? He seemed familiar. Well, the girls seemed to have him in line- that was good. You couldn't be too careful around a thief with a weapon.
Wait.
A thief? Where did that come from? She frowned, refocusing her attention to the cloth looped sadly around her hand. Stop worrying about thieves and princesses. You are being taken by strangers.

As usual the women solved the problem men started. For a fairy tale, this certainly was an odd one. When did Alice ever drop into a brewery? Sure, she had some shrooms, and Snow White was prone to gobbling down a bad apple or two. Maybe if Tim Burton or David Fincher were directing it.
All the same, Magni was glad not have been required to engage in physical combat. Power misused was power abused. His father had taught him that.
An interesting crowd before them: an archer, a noble skill, almost an art. Anyone can point and fire a gun, but the patience and dedication it takes to launch a single projectile to find its mark....
The girl was certainly familiar, not someone he knew, like he'd seen her picture somewhere, or read about her somewhere...That hair, hah, oh what his uncle would do to her. Those flowing platinum locks.
Scratching at some stubble left unchecked, Magni racked his head, attempting to profile the chick.

Farria followed the group quietly, walking over next to Skye, who was most likely her best friend of the group.
"Skye," she whispered to Skye. "Hey, hey Skye. Am I hallucinating?"
(x'DDD I don't really have much to contribute, I don't want to say anything or do anything weird to mess up the plot, but... figured I might get some character bonding going that doesn't relate to the plot right? :awesome: )

(I'd just like to clear some things up.
1) We're all from the MODERN world. We dropped into fairytale world. :P
2) Evelyn is recognising two of the charas because they're her PARENTS. xD)

(Augh, dangit, I feel like they'd recognize them from a storybook 'cause, ya know, they read fairy tales...)

Rose looked at Rent, raising an eyebrow.
"I happened to fall through a mirror to get here, not plug into some game. Plus, I'm fairly certain that were this a game we'd know. Instead, we are in some castle or something being taken upstairs by some people with weapons, and are most certainly not as safe as we'd be in a game." They may be the same age, but that didn't mean their brains worked the same. Jeesh. She raised a hand, brushing hair from her face

"As much as I like dreams and fantasy, Rose, even I have to admit that being plugged into a VRMMO is a bit more believable than... Jumping through a magic mirror," Abel remarked, with a sigh and a smile. "But, you know, it has occurred to me that this might just be a dream and we'll wake up tomorrow morning all happy and safe on our vacation," He paused. "Yes? No?"

"Do you often end up falling into wine cellars in your dreams, kid?" asked Jack, smirking at him.

"Well, no, but what can i say? I'm an eternal optimist," was Abel's bright reply as he followed them up the stairs. The closer they got to the surface, the warmer it got, and the sunlight that they could see from the windows beyong the open door was glaring and bright, almost as though they were in a desert. "Can I just ask, for a second... Where are we?"

Skye tore her eyes away from the others, her thoughts interupted, as Farria started talking to her.
"Well that's a dumb question," she said, almost to herself. "Even if I said 'no', how would you know whether or not that were really true or if you were just hallucinating the fact I said no?"
After a slight pause, Skye wondered if that was a little too complicated for Farria to comprehend, so she rephrased herself. "No, Farria, you are not hallucinating... if anything, I'm probably the one dreaming, here..."

Farria frowned. Not because she didn't understand Skye--she did--but something Skye said just didn't add up. "If I'm not hallucinating, then how is it possible for you to be dreaming this?" she demanded to know. "If you're dreaming this then I may as well be hallucinating."

"Thanks Abel. " He grinned, shaking off the dust.

"We could be in a Dream, like in Inception. " He laughed. "Or we were forced to participate this game( he raised his fingers and air quoted this) involuntarily, like Bokurano or C. You see, Rose, you didn't know of this 'game' (he air quoted this again), and turns out even touching that mirror consents it to warp you into this sick twisted game that blurs the lines between reality and profanities beyond all recognition, and now, we have to save this mess we call reality or die along with it. " He laughed again, but wasn't really joking. If he could fall into a mirror and appear in another world, any concepts and theories can be deemed valid. He came here to relax and hang out with his friends. Life back home was already enough of an adventure, Porno and Trainspotting references everywhere he went, didn't help that his life seemed like it could fit right into the books. That was the single thing he hated about his parents - forcing him to be born with such a stigma.

You're lucky, we almost called you Simon Will. Well at least people wouldn't have understood the reference as well. Calling him Renton was a death warrant.

He fished his pocket for smokes hastily and lit one on a torch that hung on the wall, then fumbled to inhale it in long, pleasurable amounts, puffing it out along with his nerves. Life had always blurred between the lines of reality and imagination for Renton, and sometimes he needed peace.

His eyes darted from friend to friend to weird guy to friend, and he realised that he was never exactly fated to have any peace in his life.
Don't ask me about my life, because if you do, I will tell you.
