Yeah, I just pronounce it the way it's spelled. But the 'd' and 't' are emphasized (if that makes sense). And the 'r' is slightly rolled.

That's how I say it. *shrug*

I just say the word the same way Zaquintor does it for no apparent reason. If my best friend is on this I would like to say I STOLE YOUR SENTENCE ENDING! Mwhahaha!

I've just said "Day-are-vite" or maybe "darrr-vit"
I wonder what it means? I don't think it has an English counterpart...

It's a swearword. So you basically can just replace it with anything you like ;) I use it sometimes instead of the F-word.

Here's how I think you pronounced D'Arvit:

Dee-ARH-vit.

Dee like DeeDee, except only one, and then ARH like "ARGH" without the G sound in it, and then "Vit", like "Zit" except for with a V sound and not a Z sound.

Make sense?

I don't know. I've always said it as "dee-arvit". I never considered it as "darvit". But that does make sense, now that I think about it.

All of this pronunciation convo is giving me a headache! I was actually thinking about this not long ago and I decided for simplicity that I would just pronounce it as Darvit.
You guys maybe right with the whole darveeeet thing though...

I pronounce it Di-arvit. I don't think you can replace it with any curse word because you can't say d'arvit you OR you give me a D'arviting headache or anything like that. I also say like that though because my sister(MMK) read the first book to me, not because i can't read but because she is an awesome reader, and that is how she says it.

I think it's pronounced "darvit" cuz I think it's supposed to sound like "darn it".
I could say that I'm not normal. My question: What is normal?
