The Septimus heap series has pictures at the chapter headings, kinda like Lemony Snicket. But lately that has been the only thing close to a picture book that I have read in the past three or so years.

Yes, I am back! I have been super-dee-dooper busy. I just got back from vacation and I said to myself, "As soon as I get back, I am going to start posting on FG again. I miss those guys!" And I did miss you! I loved talking about AF with people who actually care! I might not be posting a lot in the next few days because there's still alot to do around our house, but I swear posts will start rushing in soon." Love you all!!!!

I don't like reading graphic novels because I think they're hard to understand. Still, I might read it just to see how they draw the characters... :)

Hurkk. I was a bit upset, actually. They looked really weird in the graphic novel, and don't get mad but now I chuckle every time I read a sad part in an AF book because I imagine how they look. Yeah, I had a vision of the characters in my head and now I can't bring them back to my memories when reading, I can only bring up the picture of them in the graphic novels......*Sigh*
Also I was Very VERY mad. They had the part where Holly punched him and said Be a good boy and I'll buy you a lolly when I get back........... BUT HE DIDN'T SAY I DO NOT LIKE LOLLIPOPS!!!!! I was upset to say the least.

*sigh* Yes, the art was not as I envisioned it at all...though I'm somewhat satisfied with Holly, I'm not so sure about Butler...or Foaly for that matter. When I showed the graphic novel to my friends at the lunch table, they almost gagged when they saw Butler and Foaly. And I don't blame them.

Mulch's design was made of EPIC WIN though XD

Yeah Mulch was actually drawn okay, but when I first saw him on the Official Artemis Fowl sit in his profile I nearly fell out of my chair. I first saw all the characters on Wikipedia in their profiles and well they took the worst ones, they could for them!! But after actually reading it I got used to it and thought, Hey this isn't so bad, I can live with it.

Yeah they didn't put the "lollipop" thing in, but also they failed to mention Vinyaya. The girl has so little screen time as it is, don't take it away from her! I realize they had to take out a lot of the lines so they could tell the story more quickly.

I know! I noticed that Vinyaya wasn't there too! I was trying to get my friend to read Artemis Fowl and I was telling her about Vinyaya, (This was the day I got the graphic novel, I hadn't read it yet) and I tried to show her Vinyaya but she wasn't there

Hurkk, and they cut out how Root shot Cudgeon with the finger dart!! That will mess up the story in Artemis Fowl TAI!!
I did like how A F was written in Gnommish at the end of every chapter though ^_^

I didn't buy it, but our school library is really good and has all the books. D'Arvit-I almost screamed when I saw Foaly. He looks horrible!!!! *shudder* Blue...fur...

And when Holly mesmerized Juliet, it was weird, 'cause she just came quietly. Odd to say the least.

And Holly's hair hardly looks auburn.

I've actually been avoiding reading the graphic novel because, from what I have seen, everything is differnt from what I pictured. I suppose thAt I can't avoid it for much longer... :(
