Bananna pie is a phrase used by mods to signify that a user might be worthy of mod-dom. When it is used in the shoutbox, there is a meeting called to discuss the possible mod.

Banana pie is a phrase used when something a user says reminds a mod of either
Themself, or Another Mod. It can then be used as a joke/story with the other mods.

Wait...if saying that Banana Pie is something mods say when discussing a potential mod is moving in the WRONG direction...then, is it something mods say when discussing a problem user?

...one question, P5. If one of us actually guessed it, would you tell us?

Nope. He wouldn't. It's like asking someone to guess your favorite color, than not telling them if they guessed right. >.<

Meh.

Is banana pie code for a huge mutation living under MiM's bed?

Haha, the answer to both questions is no. This is a debate thread, not a guessing game! I've said "no" to every idea so far, for all you know, one of them has already been right!

But, of course, y'all haven't been right yet. But can you trust me when I say that?

OK... I don't know if this will help, but when I was reading the FanFiction rules the said for comment no yelling out ''PIE''. Maybe it has to do with FanFiction and comments? :?

Nope ;) That was written into the rules literally less than a month ago, and by someone who doesn't know the meaning of banana pie.

I wrote that rule. I may not know anything about Banana pie, but I can assure you I am an expert in matters of the Apple Pie.

It's the Editor's Sacred Dessert. Our equivalent of Banana Pie.

Yes...although I am but a humble Approved User, I have caught wind of "The Basement", and the "Apple Pie". My source(s) will remain a secret.

The banana pie. Is it some grotesque creation that was found inhabiting my dad's 30-year old shoe closet? Cuz it kinda sounds like a disease to me. Ya know, banana pie, disease? Ya know? Ah...ferget it.

However...I, from glancing over EVERY single post in this discussion, have come up with a few ground rules:

1. Banana pie IS an inside joke. Most likely. I'd give it an 80%.
2. The joke's ANSWER is something to do with banana pie, and the "banana pie" is most likely used in the punchline.
3. P5 said "phrase" which helps A LOT, so it's probs not a riddle or code-thing.
ok.

May I add that the hype the users have bestowed upon the Banana Pie probably doesn't amount to anything.

I think I may have the answers... but it relates to the much-better-tasting-more-sacred-and-awesomer Apple Pie, so I will not voice my theory.

However, I think it may have something to do with goading the users into being obsessed with this so called mystery.
