Ah, don't worry 'bout it. You're definitely going to get at LEAST third place.

You do know that you're not supposed to lie? I think my chances just became pretty slim. Thanks a lot everyone! (Just joking. I loved your entries, and I'm glad you made them. You do know I'm not serious when I say Thanks a lot, meant in a very sarcastic way?)

You know what this thread needs?

Cookies!

(puts out a giant plate of fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies)

I really enjoyed reading everyone's entries. I don't really care about winning; it's fun just to play. And imagine Artemis actually doing this stuff is pretty hilarious too.

Holly, she is pretty busy.
You have to be patient. Things like school and family come before FG.
Thanks to darvit and /b/for my signature. :D
And thanks Kagoma, for the awesome birthday present that is the C&H sprite!
You can't take the sky from me.

I'm back sorry for being MIA for so long , though as BlackOpal kindly mentioned it is school that has been sucking up most of my free time, I'm not just ditching FG, I haven't had time for much of anything lately.
Anyway, on to the results.
First Place
BlackOpal
Yours was really just my favorite, it was sweet and believable.
I often wish there was a book just coving events that happened between the others and I can really see that happening.

Second
Target Aquired
I've started looking forward to reading your entries.
You have a wonderful sense of humor, and your entries do a great job of expressing it without ever going over the top and becoming cheesy.

Third
Meova
Even though Arty technically already gave her the stone at the end of AFF you explain what each element of the gift could represent quite nicely.

Honorable Mention
HollyShort9 for coming up with a cleaver way to mix theft and Mother's day.

Was I close to getting third?

And Meo, I TOLD YOU THAT YOU WOULD GET THIRD! DIDN'T I?

I didn't get third. I'm Meova, not Menova :P It's funny how everyone who doesn't shorten my name gets it wrong, Maeve always calls me Meove :P
Anyway, I'm pretty glad I got third, even though the entry from HS9 was really good too :)

Congrats to the winners. Sorry about your name Meova, it's fixed now.
Don't feel bad, everyone insists that my name is really spelled K A G O M E
When it's not, when I explain that it's a purposeful change,(not unlike Target's screen name)they still insist I spell my own name wrong.
It's a free country, I can spell my name how the heck ever I want.
:stupid:

And Hollyshort9 By the way, sheer time constraint prevented me from addressing this before but your post concerning my absence was totally inappropriate, and I'll thank you not to address me like that again. You may not always agree with how I do things, but I'm certain you have the ability to conduct yourself in a more mature, respectable manor.
Cursing at someone doesn't make you look cool, it makes you look desperate for attention.
Thank you.

Ah, it's OK. Just a joke I sometimes make when people spell my name the wrong way. Thanks for fixing, anyway :)
