Re: What Act of Self-Care Did You Do Today?
I finally sewed some clothes of mine! It looks a tad hokey, but it'll do.

I phoned my dad and spoke to him for a bit which was nice. I did a bunch of housework which made me feel productive. I also watched some good films that I really enjoy, which made me laugh a lot

So this was the other day, I played a little guitar before heading out to a thing. I was feeling a little so-so, but as I plonked along, I ended up having a grin. Didn't know I needed that little sesh.

I did a really nice exfoliation, epilation and moisturising routine. My skin on my legs is looking better than it has in ages. And I'm trying to look after my feet better too so I rubbed in some new cream I might do an under eye mask before I go to bed too :3

Not exactly "self care"...really the opposite, but I made myself a Winchester: a barbecue bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg (over easy) nestled between the meat patties.
The most unhealthy thing you can put inside your body, but Odin's beard is it delicious. The warm meat and tang of barbecue, the sweet nibble of bacon...then after the yolk breaks, a fountain of gold cascades over the meat.
Fill-In: o.0 You got issues.
Tis named after Dean Winchester, who has ordered such a behemoth on an occasion or two. Also known as the McDean as I used to experiment with it every now and then during my tenure at maccas. Now, it's more of an every now and then indulgence.

I took a lovely bath. I lit a vanilla and honey scented candle, I did an under-eye mask, used my pore cleanser and my foam cleanser. I had my audiobook on to listen to too. I feel much more pmpered and relaxed

This wasn't exactly for me, but I gave my dog a bath. He was starting to get some mad tangles and the fur around his ears was getting crusty after some meds were applied. He wasn't exactly thrilled to receive the bath, but he looks better and his fur is nice and soft.

I caught up on a lot of sleep, which I definitely needed! I also did all my physio which definitely made my aches feel better! I celebrated by watching something that I have really been looking forward to for a long time

Standard hygienics aside, um....well...I dunno. I braided my hair? It was bugging me how I had it before, so the braid was more comfy. And more Viking like, natch

I bleached my hair ready to dye it my favourite colour! I am looking forward to it so much, I have been wanting to do this since April so it feels so good

I put some lotion of my legs. My skin isn't dry at all there so it doesn't need it, but I like the smell so it's a quick and easy way to feel a bit pampered.

I watched one of my favourite shows at the same time as my mam and we both texted each other the whole way through. It's such a nice way to bond and share stuff when we can't be close.

Re: What Act of Self-Care Did You Do Today?
I used scented hand sanitizer. My hands were sticky with cherry juice and the only cleaning agent I had immediately available without going to a sink and properly washing was a Bath & Bodyworks sanitizer. So it was sort of an "unintentional" Self-Care thing, but the scent was pleasant and stuck around for a bit.

I exfoliated, epilated and moisturised. And I'm planning on putting some cute, short false nails on later to make me feel even cuter. I also have some of my comfort films on to distract me.

I shampooed and conditioned my hair. And just took a nap as I was replying to this.
