I peeked at some scholarships today! Monday or Tuesday I'll plan to stop in at the college and see what the next steps are.

....if they're "open" anyway.
Yaaaay! Good for you that is so awesome! Keep us updated :awesome: #

It is Friday! So I am gonna put some comfort TV on, order some dinner (so I don't have to cook) and I am going to truly relax and treat myself ^_^

^Danke. :D
The prospect is intimidating and exhilarating, I'll prolly end up taking only one or two classes at a time

Hm...well.....aside from the "standard" self care items, I caught up some of my light reading materials. Brain candy stuff, but it felt good to cross certain issues off my list.

I started listening to Jurassic Park as an audiobook! I am really enjoying it! I have also taken an early night since I am knackered.

Besides standard hygienic practices, I indulged in finishing a telly show. I ought to finish up the one book tomorrow, then I can start TOD with a fresh conscious.

Oh! I have a rant to post for the readalong about Mulch and accents.

I did something that is for the best that I didn't really want to do. Not sure how much I can say before giving my official statement to law enforcement. It is best for the community and will help me move on from the bad feelings that I have had all day today thinking about it.

Over the past few days I did a few self-care things.

I finally found some time to shave, usually I'm pretty on top of that, but it escaped me the one time and I was like "Oh okay, I'll catch it next time...." then there were equipment issues and I was left to grow a hobo beard* and constantly scratch and feel discomfort from the hairs scratching against the mask.

I cared for my hair as best I can do without proper equipment.

I ensured my car was covered to prevent any water leaks.

I hung out with a mate and filled my social meter so I don't Sim cry in a corner.

I allowed myself to indulge in some entertainment mediums: finished a shortie book, started Opal Deception, watched some Vikings and other shows.

*There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a beard, and there is no insult to hobos intended. I'm sure they all have wonderful beards. Mine is not so glamorous

I did some major tidying that made my mind feel so much more organised. Hopefully, it will make me more productive too :)
I also did takeaway Friday as my treat for making it to the end of the week :D
I also also messaged my Nana which is always lovely because she is so sweet and loving ^_^

I made a Viking braid for my hair. Still working up the nerve to attempt the Lagertha braid....but I like the side braid thing. It feels pretty legit.

I made myself do some tasks that I have been apprehensive about. I got it all done and out of the way, which means that I am more free to do stuff that doesn't make me apprehensive for the rest of this week :D

Let's see....I took care of basic hygienics, had a semi healthy snack of carrots and peanut butter. I made sure to cover my car so water wouldn't leak in from the rain.
