Has anyone bought/played one? What games?

I havent, and i wont be :(

It just isnt worth that much money to me :(

Even the graphics didnt seem to have taken that much of a boost. Also, the idea of needing Windows Media Center to use all the media capabilities seemed a little stingy to me :(

If im going to get one of the next gen consoles, then it will be the PS3. Far more powerful. Guess ill just have to wait though :(

That said, i never liked the xbox, so meh, could be totally wrong XD

:D I totally agree with you!!
Listen people! SAVE YOUR MONEY, and wait for a PS3
that way youll look way cooler when June comes & everyone else is stuck with their 360's :D

Oh, and theres also the added advantage of it being a far superior console! I've seen some screenshots and they look amazing! head over to ign!

Yeah ive played a 360, and i wasnt really that impressed :( i was expecting to be totally blown away, and it was kinda well.... similar to PC gaming =/ I was playing some war game, and it was really hard to control!!

Anyways thats my news

I WANT A PS3!!!

But knowing that my parents won't even allow a PS2.. *sigh*

Of course, I'll still buy my own PS3.

I see all these "Get your FREE PS3" adverts [i.e. the one below, as I am typing this..].. I attempted signing up for that "be a PS3 beta-tester" but I cancelled... they were asking for my home phone number... I won't give that away.. We'll start getting calls from telemarketers and then they'll sell all my personal info to third parties... NOT WORTH IT.

I guess I have to wait for the PS3. *sigh*

Grrr i hate when they get your details and constantly bug ya!
We used to get about 4 or 5 junk calls a day.
we had to phone BT and tell them to block all the crappy calls.
They did it :D and now we dont get them as much..

Anyways yeah PS3 looks sweet.

By the way i dont see any ads on this forum, nice add blocker hides everything, and layout just corrects itself :D

You have an ad blocker? Cool. Does that come with your browser? My browser is IE, and the only ad blockers I have are the pop-up blockers.

My younger bro told me that there's this new technology in the PS3.. I forgot what it's called. It's like, the super-duper-ultra-mega-hi-tech thing after DVD.. Oh they're called Blu-ray optical drives. Sounds cool. Sounds a bit like the C-Cube in "Eternity Code",

Blu-ray is right - it has a 60GB storage capacity :D

Even double sided DVDs are going to be 9.4gb at best XD

The PS2 also processes faster, so its going to rock :D

I even heard it might be free to play online? I know thats true for the Nintendo Revolution, so lets hope its the same for the ps3 :D

EDIT - As for the adverts. They arent even mine, so meh XD

Invision PowerBoard is a type of forum, but it costs ?150 to get a license to use it. What we are using for a forum is Invisionfree, which is based completely on Invision PowerBoard, and thanks to the huge number of fans it has, it has become totally customisable. It is by far my favourite type of forum, so i decided to use it for FG :D

The forum is hosted on their servers though, so they stick on those adverts.

(The adverts on the main site are put there by me though :) )

I'd much rather have the PS3 then the XBox 360. It seems sooo much better than the XBox 360 anyway I'm a playstation girl.

PS3

wow =/ i heard about some new type of disc recently... theres gonna be like a format war. Theres HD-DVD and Blu-Ray and their both kinda similar. HD-DVD mainly for movies & Blu-Ray for gaming.

Theres gonna be a new one thats gonna blow them outa the water tho, but i cant remember what it is :(

Yeah i have Norton Personal Firewall and its got an adblocker facility, its so handy you just turn it on and you dont see any ads :) Using a little trick you can also block the annoying google ads you see all over the net :D

They and microsoft arent having free online Darvit. Hurrah for nintendo. on an unrelated note, any word on those DC2 rumours (unlikely i know, but leave me to my fantasies!)

personally im a Sega fanboy like, i just love them. when they went under, i went to Nintendo. now i have an Xbox too, but my loyalties are still to Sega and Ninny. personally i the ps2 disappointed me, same with the 360. neither look particularly impressive as far as im concerned. ive played a 360 and the controls were sluggish and malresponsive, although this is probably just due to games being rushed for the release. either way it'll be interesting to see how things really get underway when all three are in the running.
Peace.
