I agree. It would be kool to play as Holly or maybe even Juliet! In the different levels, for the first book, you could be Root, and help him get to the ship to 'rescue Holly'. And Holly to escape from Artemis. And Mulch for digging in!! It'd be awesome!

Problem is that there must a be a Developer who bets on good sales, and also a Game Studio who wants to work with the Developer...
Next problem is: Most Game Studios have already planned games for the next few years, so say if a Developer agrees to fund the Game Studio and the Game Studio wants to do it, and that decision is made on this day, the game will be probably started building in about 2013 and it also probably takes 2-5 years to actually make the game so the most logic date the game would be released ( If it's ever going to be made) would be between 2015 and 2018.

That stinks. How do they time the games with the movies?
Here's a list of cool features
1 RPG mode
2 regulare campaign mode
3 vs mode
4 multi player
5 co-op
6 check points
7 save where ever you are
8 ability to change from for real time and the taking turns mode
9 cool movie parts, and lots of them
10 play different characters on different levels
11 boss battles
12 not so many races or sneaking parts(I like those parts less)
13 no codes
14 subtitles
15 keep to the book as much as possible durring regular campaign
16 cool back ground music(I was thinking mostly Irish and celtic, but anything that sounds cool and/or mysterious)
17 to be for all game stations(xbox, playstagion, wii ect)
18 kareoke revolution as characters from the game(with the cool music and more)
19 difficulty setting
20 mini map
21 secret levels, and levels where you can play as the other team when you beat the game
22 unlockables, like characters, weapons, areas
23 teaser at the end of credits
24 enemy life bar
25 level ups in the RPG
26 cool graphics

That sounds like quite a good idea, I know there was a card game in Germany awhile back.

Yeah. Different levels for different characters, because in some games, playing as the same character all the time can get really boring.

An Artemis Fowl video game? Could be fun, could be terrible. But the most likely time for a video game to be created is if they make the movie. If that happens, the game won't be very good. Games based of movies seldom are.

I know - it's pretty sad. You know, there's this Scholastic video game maker thing...I could check it out. :) Maybe we could make the game a computer game - ourselves!
That would be absolutely fantastic. Take that stupid game-making people!

I would want either a lego game or one with really nice graphics. And it should be action with some puzzles to.

An Artemis Fowl game would probably be all strategy, and, let's face it, most people enjoy hardcore grinding more. Plus, I personally think it'd be a really nerdy thing and I doubt many people will buy it...

I have exp with many games, and in fact, creating one mahself. If an AF game is gonna be all strategy, it would be a lil boring. I think ti should have a main campaign, and a LOT of secrets that have to be unlocked. There should also be several playable characters, and then a "free mode".
ok.

I have one hell of an idea which I must show before I go insane... *twitch*

Basically, you are (at the start) a new recruit into the LEP just after book 1. You start out doing simple missions with the most mediocre equipment available, as you do, and you have to climb the ranks and branch out and such. For example, above ground mission 1 could be a routine recon task checking out the Fowl estate, with a simple side arm, a dragonfly wing pack, that sort of thing. But later you would get harder missions such as finding and then holding down a troll. Then you will be stuck in the middle of the B'wa Kell rebellion (with no gun, naturally), requiring some more skill, wits and good old fisticuffs. You would eventually become a Jack-of-all-trades, capable of Recon and Retrieval alike. You might even *gasp* be ordered to take part in the missions shown in the books! Imagine attempting to keep Demons away from the magic circle in The Lost Colony while Holly is tied up helping with the circle!
Oh Gods, Abbot (N'zall) is going to need a LOT of Neutrino charges to keep down...

I would just want it in a similar style to, Sims. You can have them do what ever you want them to. Like being able to be:

Artemis
Anyone is Artemis' family
Butler(I would play him for sure. *~*)
Holly
Trouble
Foaly
Juliet
Opal
Root(He doesn't have to be dead, but you could kill him off, if you want to though)
Vinyaya(Same thing as Root)

And any other main-ish person/fairy. :3 In Sims they let you do like these quests/missions. Depending on which one your playing. So with AF you can still have the battling missions and all.
