BROADWAY!
Musicals, plays, Broadway, West End, National Tours, and film adaptions!
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one on here that finds Broadway a pretty amazing place, and I have a few questions for those of you that are interested.
1) What's your favorite musical?
2) Best movie adaptation?
3) Favorite actor/actress/composer?
4) Anything you really want to see?

5) Spiderman the musical (Turn off the Dark) yes or no?

Re: BROADWAY!
1) What's your favorite musical?
I know a lot of musicals, but I haven't really watched that many. But even though so far I've only watched clips from the musical, i'll have to say Wicked. The music is just so great, it blows me away.
2) Best movie adaptation?
Oooooh... Tough one. Moulin Rouge, I think. Yeah, I'm gonna go with that.
3) Favorite actor/actress/composer?
Er...
Favourite actress(es): For me, it's a tie between Lea Salonga, Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. I think they're all amazing.
Favourite actor: I don't know, really... I never really thought of this. Fred Astaire, maybe. Gotta love the classics.
Favourite Composer: Andrew Lloyd Webber. Like I said, gotta love the classics.
4) Anything you really want to see?
Wicked the Musical. If not that, then, the Phantom of the Opera.

5) Spiderman the musical (Turn off the Dark) yes or no?
NO. Just... No.

Re: BROADWAY!
I'm going to go see Wicked in May, it's finally coming to my town! I'm going with the drama club at my school, so were making presents for the cast and then were going to stand at the stage door, and possible force our way though to meet them! I'm incredibly excited!
Sutton Foster is amazing, I really wish I could see her in Anything Goes!

Re: BROADWAY!
It's been over a year, but whatever.
1) What's your favorite musical?
Cats!. I'm sorry.
2) Best movie adaptation?
Phantom of the Opera. Again, sorry. (A little off topic, but I was kind of dissapointed in that both the Persian AND the Rat-Catcher were not in the musical.)
3) Favorite actor/actress/composer?
I... I dunno. I don't.
4) Anything you really want to see?
Les Miserables. I don't even know what it's about. But it takes place in Europe, and the music is good from the... Three song's I've heard. Coming out as a movie soon *~*
5) Spiderman the musical (Turn off the Dark) yes or no?
I dunno. Sounds like a really bad idea. But I don't know.

Re: BROADWAY!
1) Being the uncultured swine I am, I can't say...I've heard good things about Wicked though. Course there's a ton of classics out there.
2) Does Disney count? Another friend of a friend was rather favorable of the Phantom of the Opera films.
3) Harrison Ford. Michelle Pfeiffer/Jamie Alexander/various. John Williams, Alan Silvestri, and Danny Elfman.
Fill-In: *struggling to control self* But...they're not...Broadway....oh nevermind... *slips back into reading his book*
4) Despite the terrible reviews, I really wanted to see Spider-Man while he was still swinging around Broadway. But I don't think it's playing anymore, so for Question 5 I can really only say...

Re: BROADWAY!
Aye, there was a big thing of it a couple years ago. They had a lot of trouble getting it started, accidents, costs, etc. Then finally when it opened, it wasn't exactly met with glowing reviews. It had Bono and the Edge doing music though.HollyShort9 wrote: ↑Fri 22nd Jun 2018
