Re: What TV Show did You Watch Last?
Weeds and Prison Break
Update 1/20/2023
Just finished watching Supernatural Time After Time
I know I've said and thought that basically anything past season 5 is somewhat meh....which is a bit harsh and prolly inaccurate as there's currently 15 seasons.....but this one is pretty freakin' epic.
Dean always gets to do the fun stuff, going on adventures to the 40s with Elliot Ness xD
I do have to wonder...so if Chronos can be summoned from any point in his time...can he really die?
Like, he could get summoned to a point after his death, learn of it, then work to prevent it, right? Unless the timeline is the sort where what you do eventually leads to the outcome? I dunno.
Sort of wanted to watch it because of Indy 5. The Dial of Destiny.
......................................
.........your density has brought you to this. xDDDDD
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Density
Damnit, George!
But yeah. At this point, time travel is essentially verified with heavy speculation that Chronos/a Chronos adjacent artifact is involved.
Anyway...
Also started watching The Last of Us series! I'm glad to see it got good reviews!! I honestly don't have the best judge of if something is "good" or "bad" just whether or not I enjoyed it or not. And most of the time, my bar can be pretty low and I can set it lower if I have to.
Update 4/3/2023
Last watched show was Shrinking. Jason Segel's character is...honestly, rather annoying. His wife died and he's been moping and doping. Which inserts one character in your head going in blind.
But the reality, the character you get, he's irritating. Imagine Twitter in real life. Just announcing any random thing. Basically, as soon as something happens in the show or someone says something, literally next scene is Jason going to his allegedly hated neighboress or someone else and telling them all about it.
He is what my niece would call cringe. Intentionally makes a scene or moment as awkward as possible.
And the dude's supposed to be a therapist...a shrink....how the heck would anyone feel comfortable opening up to this...basically open telephone?
The show's saving grace is Harrison Ford.
Harrison Ford. In a 30 minute streaming show.
I never would've thought I'd seen the day. Nothing to say about Harrison...because well...it's Harrison the guy's a legend.
Another show I'm watching is Daisy Jones and the Six.
It's a sex, drugs, rock n roll type thing, set in the 70s. It follows a rock band and their start up and all that kind of stuff....it also follows the relationship between its leads, Billy and Daisy. Daisy who is played by Riley Keough....the granddaughter of the King himself, Elvis Presley.
The two sort of have a head-butting thing going on, but they gel really well with creating songs and making music together. But they're not quite good together. Billy is married and Daisy is too free to ever be tied...
Though she did say at one point they should just be together.
I kind of get them.
Creatively, they're soulmates.
But that's it. Artistic minds capable of creating amazing works.
It resonated a little too well for me.
