Doctor Who

Post by minervaparadizo » Mon 1st Jan 2007

Okay, when you think of Dr Who, you think of ancient graphic where you can see the strings on the puppets and the zips on the aliens.
That's what I thought, until one night, my dad said "Oh, there's a new series of Dr Who on tonight. Maybe we could watch it."
I, of course, wasn't thrilled, but I watched it none the less. And you know what. It was effin awsome. The modern graphics are amazing, they have clever story lines, some hot actors, and you know what? In some of the episodes, I was scared out of my pants. It can be so freaky.
But I love it. It is amazing. So I'm asking what you guys think of Dr Who, and if anyone watches the new ones.

AHH I LOVE DOCTOR WHO *glomps first season doctor* David Tennant is annoying. The other doctor was more sarcastc. And he could put up shelves X). The satan episodes were CREEPY! Of course I was watching them with my aunt and uncle, who knew how creepy they were, so they turned off all of the lights :\. Have you seen the 1941 London Blitzing episodes? THOSE ARE THE BOMB (excuse the pun) And is it just me, or is the current doctor played by Barty Crouch Jr. from HP? I think David played him, but I can never remember these things...

Hanyou kitty, I'll answer your question first. It was origi****ly the Christopher Ecleston ones that my dad suggested to watch, but I love it so much I have seen both series.
Kneesocks, I saw those devil episodes and the london Blitz ones and I couldn't walk around my own house in the dark I was so scared. They both scared me witless. It's always the second double episode.
And guess what? They are making a spin off about Captain Jack at Torchwood! I loved Captain Jack. He was so funny cos he was bi. And I always felt sorry for him cos he got left behind

Ack Jack. I used to hate him, but he grew on me, lol. Where can I see the spin-off?! In the Satan episodes, you'd think someone would take the "Welcome to Hell" graffiti as a hint, but nooo... I think the idea that the royal family are werwolves is hilarious XD. Have you seen the finally for season 2 yet? (Sorry for the random-ness of this message :P)

Don't give away the ending to the Satan one! The network did a very cruel thing to me. They showed part one, then cut Doctor Who out for Christmas shows.
Christopher Eccleson only contracted for the first season. It's the same seiries, just a different Doctor. They always used to do that in the old ones. I knew it once...I think there were about 14 doctors or something.
Don't hate David Tennant! <span style='font-size:6pt;line-height:100%'>He's hot!</span>

I don't think that there were 14 doctors- they only did a few seasons, but I'm not sure. I agree that David is hott, I just liked Chris better.

I love Jack. I thought He was a sleaze at first, but then he was so funny so I grew to like him.
I have seen the final for both seasons, and the Christmas special for David Tennant and that bride chick. It's pretty good.
The Satan episodes are scary as, well, hell. It is so freaky!

Both of them were heaps scary. Neat links, by the way. I think it was sad how Jack got left behind on that space station. He was the only living person on it.
