The Fangathering Website Team

Post by MichaelM » Sun 4th Feb 2007

This is a group, for anyone who is interested in helping out on, or adding content to the main Artemis Fowl site (NB - Not the forum. Moderating positions are handled seperately).

Members of the team are there voluntarily. If you think you would like to add content, and help out on the site, then we would love to have you. ^_^

If you would like to join the team, please PM me or post here, saying so.

There are two technicalities though. You may only apply if:

1 - You have over 35 posts - We like to know that people are genuinely interested in FG, and this is a good indicator. ^_^

2 - You use good spelling and grammar. Sorry, but content on the main site must be of good quality, so poor grammar, or netspeak, simply won't be used. :(

NB - No knowledge of HTML, web design etc. is needed to be on the team. ^_^

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or post in this thread. :)

Hmm. What do I need to do for the site? I could... come up with a random thoughts to ponder section. About Artemis Fowl of course. I'll start spurting off more ideas later. ^_^

Do I have 100 posts? And MM, you KNOW I'm serious about this website. Look at the amount I've commented in the fanart section. And fanart I've done.

psr, SPELLING and GRAMMAR. All I'm saying is that post isn't exactly what I'd call a good first impression. Remember, the I's have it.^_^

Also, can anyone tell me what a global mod is? I keep on seeing it in the bar thing.
Manga rules. So does anime. And so does Pocky. What does this tell us?
Japan should make cartoons and chocolate, not bombs and whale shish kabob.

This and other obvious statements brought to you by:
Nicole (who does not deserve the artist title because is too lazy to practise)

PSR - PM me. :)

Nicole - I know how dedicated you are, and how much you're on FG, so yes, I'd be glad to have you. :D

The problem though is that powers on the FanArt gallery would be perfect for you, but they aren't possible. I have spent the past half hour searching the CPG site again for information on making moderators (For deleting comments), but it's just not possible. :( (Or at least, never been done before).

Would you be interested on working on the actual website though? There is always something that needs to be done. It would involve writing pages though, not fanart (Sorry :( ). Would you still be interested?

I'll stick to commenting on the fanart gallery. :)

Sounds good - I've added you to the Website Team now, so you should find a new forum on the main forum page, called "Site Team." Have a wee read of some of the more recent threads in there to get started, then PM me and we'll talk about what to do. :D

Are you still accepting? Am I too late? Nevermind if I am. Just curious.

Oh, Great! :D I would love to join! I have tons of riddles and brainteasers and the like sitting in my bookcase. We could modify them to make them Artemis-associated!
