You Learn Something New Everyday

Post by MichaelM » Thu 15th Mar 2007

Well, it's a shame what happened to the old one, but we are still learning new things everyday, so here's a new thread for it. :D

What did you learn today? Do you really learn something every day? Tell us it here. :D

Today I learnt that making a database project in Access is probably the most frustrating, tedious thing you could possibly do... :(

Hehe - I dropped Chemistry last month. Everytime someone mentions it now, I smile. :D

So instead of telling you something else I learnt today, I'll show my pride in how I did NOT learn any chemistry. :D

I'm thinking of changing my major from Chemistry to Biology.

I never really loved Chem anyway. :focl: <--Now that's another thing I learned.

I just couldn't get myself to do it. I'll do it tomorrow, I think. XD

It's weird, chemistry is my favourite science. Now physics is a different story. *shudders* I'm taking physics next year, it is supposed to be a killer course. Half the students drop it in the first week or two. Hardest science course of high school apparently.

Darvit - lol - I wouldn't blame you for that. XD

But what career are you looking for? I know that for medicine, Chemistry is pretty much required. :(

Opal - Really? Im my school Chemistry is far harder than Physics. :o

I suppose it depends on the examining board's style. :(

Bah, physics is simple. It's extremely logical, and the math is incredibly easy. Chem and Bio, however, are tough, mainly because there are so many organic compounds one has to remember, such as ATP versus ADP, glucose, pyruvate, mRNA, et cetera.
And today I learned that snowblowers do not handle well on slippery hills.
