You Learn Something New Everyday
Well, it's a shame what happened to the old one, but we are still learning new things everyday, so here's a new thread for it.
What did you learn today? Do you really learn something every day? Tell us it here.
Today I learnt that making a database project in Access is probably the most frustrating, tedious thing you could possibly do...

Today I learned firsthand how it feels to have REM rebound after sleeping at 4AM and getting up at 5AM the previous day.

I learned how to do that this year too. It wasn't fun.
Today I learned about the ending of the Bartimeaus trilogy. :'(
Thanks to darvit and /b/for my signature.
And thanks Kagoma, for the awesome birthday present that is the C&H sprite!

Hehe - I dropped Chemistry last month. Everytime someone mentions it now, I smile.
So instead of telling you something else I learnt today, I'll show my pride in how I did NOT learn any chemistry.
(*Hates chemistry* - Incase you couldn't tell. )

I'm thinking of changing my major from Chemistry to Biology.
I never really loved Chem anyway. <--Now that's another thing I learned.
I just couldn't get myself to do it. I'll do it tomorrow, I think.

It's weird, chemistry is my favourite science. Now physics is a different story. *shudders* I'm taking physics next year, it is supposed to be a killer course. Half the students drop it in the first week or two. Hardest science course of high school apparently.

Bah, physics is simple. It's extremely logical, and the math is incredibly easy. Chem and Bio, however, are tough, mainly because there are so many organic compounds one has to remember, such as ATP versus ADP, glucose, pyruvate, mRNA, et cetera.
