#31:A Christmas Caper

A Christmas Caper
"Use that big brain of yours to make people happy Arty."
The words had more of an effect on Artemis than he was willing to admit.
While he wasn't sure how interested he truly was in -others- the challenge was interesting none the less: How could his abilities best be used to befit other people?
Exactly how much change could he make to the world if he chose to?
The ability to change things was the basis of power after all, and something he missed the taste of greatly.
That was it then, he was resigned:
This year, Artemis Fowl would change something for the better, but not by donation or endorsement: He would take the direct approach.
And of course, the most direct way to do anything was illegally.

This Challenge comes in the form of a Drabble contest.
I want you to come up with crime for Artemis that will be beneficial to the world in some way and then tell me about it in in short fiction form.
[You can if you want to of course.]

Hope this is the latest!
Whell here it is!

Artemis wakes up one morning with a hedache.
He then decides, on the basis that there's no one product on the market that efectively get's rid of a hedache, that he will hack all info. on hedache medication then illegaly create and produce his own. :)

The outcome is that all other hedache medication becomes obsolite, therefore employees at the plants loose their jobs. So he gives the paitent right to one lone company, witch in term means the company needs more workers. Everyone now has hedache medicaton that works, and there's more jobs for the public.

Officially retired. Sorry, but you won't find Alanna around anywhere now. I'm but a ghost.

Artemis flips on the Tv, I must be getting desperate for something to do He thinks as he watches a horribly done pearl habor show. A crazy idea flew threw his head. I do need something to do... Why not? He called Butler into the room. Butler imeadianty comes into the room.
"Yes sir?"
"Butler, its time we start doing something illegal"

So, Artemis and Butler spend the next couple of weeks devising a plan to.... Steal all of Hollywood's money and put them out of buisness. then they start up they're own Artywood using Hollywood's money. Now in Arty's free time, he can do movies properly.

Artywood! We go by-the-book!

Ya, I hope this isnt too late. And Its silly, but I think it would be cool! He could use fairy technology to help with special effects and what-not!

One day, Artemis was bored, terribly terribly bored. So... He decided to see if he could accomplish the next toughest crime of all, even harder then acquiring the Legendary Fairy thief painting. He would break into Foaly's lab. Having gotten into the base already, Artemis is fiddling with things when....
Artemis's POV

I was looking into some of the solutions and mixtures laid on the table before me, surprisingly I could not name a single one. Perhaps I thought slyly I should test a few, maybe mix a few even.
I looked carefully over the selections of solutions and choose a blueish green liquid in a strange shaped bottle and a reddish brown one in a circle like beaker.
I started to pour some of the reddish brown liquid into the blueish green one, then, and only then, did I realize that my curiosity had won over my sanity. What was i doing? I panicked to myself This is probably the stupidest thing I've ever done. It's stupid and illogical to mix things I don't even- My thought was cut short when I noticed that it was already done the liquids poured and mixed. I waited for something horrible to emerge when I noticed to my surprise, that nothing had happened. With a sigh of relief I turned around wanting to get out of here as fast as possible when... I noticed that as I turned around my Elbow had hit the mixture sending it flying into a pot of soil. Suddenly from the soil sprang forth a giant potato and when i say giant i mean colossal. I quickly grabbed the rest of the potion and hurried out..

Later on Artemis used the potion to end world hunger, because everyone had a massive potato's to eat.

THE END!

Ack!
I'm back
And now that I have you distracted with unnecessary rhyming...
The results:

First: Kierisa12
In my opinion that would be a boon to the greater good.
Just think of the results if Artemis controlled the airwaves,
The Science Chanel would air [i]The History of Time
at reasonable hours!
Business Financial would corner stone it's advice with legal loopholes!
We would never, ever have to be observe starlets undulating to pointless music again!
(Ok...that last one is an I hope.)

Second:LollipopHolly

While I'm not too sure I would be able to save the world with giant potatoes, it's good to know that someone could, also, I like that you actually attempted a Drabble.

Third:Alanna-Lena Zelen
But what about all the people that lost their jobs from this?
Is it like a mega company that would reemploy them all and them some?

Technically I'm the one that "starts" them, but as you can probably tell by the general deadness of this board, I'd love for someone to send me some fresh ideas.
Anyone can suggest their own Challenges.
Just post them here.>http://forum.fangathering.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1552
Thank you.
