Re: The Fangathering Website Team
Well we always agree what should we write about. If you have some ideas you can write article about it!!!!
For Haven Herald is important good grammar and spelling but you should like it as well.
I can see already you have good grammar and spelling so there won't be any problem about that

Sooo... am I on the site team?...
Ohh I have a idea! What if you had a Artemis Christmas skin? You could change the skin just a little bit so the box Artemis is holding has a bow on it and he's in a Santa Claus outfit and the background is green.
we're all stories in the end. just make it a good one, eh? because it was, you know. it was the best.

Re: The Fangathering Website Team
So, I know this is sort of off topic, but is there a way to become involved with the forum team?
I mean, I'd love to help around FG, but I'm not sure there's much I can do!
I meet the requirements, but I'm not sure if I have anything that you'd need, that I could help with.

I don't know how do you mean forum team. There is no forum team, only site team.Admins, moderators and general moderators worry about forum. There is no special team for that.

Carino meant on them. All Moderators and Admins and Super Moderators and Admins are considered a team.
That's like saying all government personnel is not a team. They all have their names, only they all have power, and others don't
So that's the question I'd like a answer too. Not now, probably not even in the future, but I'd like to see how it works on this forum

Re: The Fangathering Website Team
Well if mods and admins are considered some kind of team then I must say that it's very different then site team.MM created site team and we are doing stuff for site not forum,as you already know.Ans we all applied to help.
And for forum team no one applied. After some time if we need more mods, for example, and if there is some person who contributes to the forum very much then he/she becomes mod. After I while mod can become general mod.

Re: The Fangathering Website Team
Maybe this is slightly clearer:
Unlike the site team, there is no "system" of how people can become moderators. It isn't something you can apply for. If MM feels that the forum needs another moderator, he appoints one. If you've been around for a long time, follow the rules, don't spam, and are just a great member overall, then you'd be in consideration to become a mod a that point.
If you are a good mod, then after a while you might become a global mod. MM and darvit are likely to remain the only admins, at least for a long time.
The site team, on the other hand, is something that you can apply for as long as you have 35 posts. That's pretty much the only way to get involved with FG without being appointed by an admin.
Hopefully that's slightly clearer.
